Making music lessons fun with a customized approach to each student

I have a very personal teaching approach, always directioning the lessons to meet the students interests. We can work on classical repertoire, technique and theory, or Flamenco/World music, Pop and Rock music. Through my years of teaching experience I've developed a wide range of resources to approach the development of the students and different techniques which can easily solve problems inherent in music education. My goal in the lessons is to create a safe environment where the student feels inspired/motivated to practice without any pressure. I've been playing the guitar for over 13 years, 5 of those also teaching. I have a bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar from the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague, Netherlands, and I'm currently enrolled in Masters at the Kunst Universität Graz. I've also attended courses and hold minor degrees in Flamenco music (from CODARTS Conservatorium in Rotterdam) and Early Music. By Working with the top musicians in the busines I've developed strategies for fast and steady improvement, both musical and technical on the guitar.
