Ich bin professioneller Trompeter, Pianist und Komponist mit mehreren Hochschulabschlüssen in Jazz, klassischer Komposition und elektronischer Musik. Meine Studien in Italien und an der Kunstuniversität Graz habe ich mit Auszeichnung abgeschlossen. Seit über 15 Jahren unterrichte ich Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene – vom neugierigen Anfänger bis zum fortgeschrittenen Musiker.
Ich lebe und arbeite zwischen Wien und Peking, wo ich für die Lin Boren Academy of Arts – 林博仁艺术学院 – tätig bin: ein internationales Kunstprojekt, das europäische und chinesische Musikkultur miteinander verbindet.
Mein Unterricht ist individuell, kultiviviert und lebendig. Wir arbeiten an Technik, musikalischem Ausdruck, Gehör, Improvisation und Repertoire – immer ausgehend von der Persönlichkeit, den Interessen und den Zielen des Schülers.
Ob Jazz, Klassik, Pop, Filmmusik, Beatles, Songwriting, Komposition oder moderne Musikproduktion: Musik soll nicht nur korrekt gespielt, sondern wirklich verstanden und erlebt werden.
Eine typische Unterrichtsstunde verbindet klare technische Arbeit mit kreativem Musizieren. Kinder lernen mit Neugier und Freude; Erwachsene können ohne Leistungsdruck ein Instrument entdecken oder auf anspruchsvollem Niveau weiterarbeiten.
Denn die Aufgabe eines guten Lehrers besteht nicht darin, ein Gefäß zu füllen, sondern ein Feuer zu entfachen.

Unterrichtssprachen: Deutsch, Englisch, Italienisch und Französisch. Ein wenig Chinesisch ist ebenfalls möglich – zumindest genug, um gemeinsam den richtigen Ton zu finden. 四个声调 inklusive!

I am a professional trumpeter, pianist and composer with multiple degrees in jazz, classical composition and electronic music. I completed my studies in Italy and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz with highest honours. For more than 15 years, I have taught children, teenagers and adults – from curious beginners to advanced musicians.
I live and work between Vienna and Beijing, where I work with the Lin Boren Academy of Arts – 林博仁艺术学院 – an international arts project connecting European and Chinese musical cultures.
My lessons are highly personalised, refined and engaging. We work on technique, musical expression, ear training, improvisation and repertoire, always starting from the student’s personality, interests and individual goals.
Whether your passion is jazz, classical music, pop, film music, the Beatles, songwriting, composition or contemporary music production, my aim is not simply to teach you how to play correctly, but to help you understand and truly experience music.
A typical lesson combines focused technical work with creative music-making. Children learn through curiosity and enjoyment; adults can discover an instrument without pressure or continue their musical development at an advanced level.
A good teacher does not simply fill a vessel – he lights a fire.

Lessons are available in German, English, Italian and French. A little Chinese is also possible – at least enough to help us find the right tone. All four of them, naturally!
